1 month before the wedding

Confirm menu with reception venue
Have final gown fitting
Arrange suit pick up
Hair dresser/make-up/manicure trial
Confirm details with the florist

2 weeks before the wedding

Compile seating arrangements
Confirm number of guests
Organize press announcements
Confirm all services
Arrange final fittings
Finalize honeymoon arrangements
Wedding rehearsal

 

SPEECH  LIST

There are mainly two types of formats regarding the speeches.
"If the bride would like to speak it is usually done after the grooms speech."

 

The traditional speech list:

  1. Toast to the Bride and Groom ( usually the MC or close friend or family member )

  2. Groom responds... and then proposes a toast to the bridesmaids

  3. Bestman responds on behalf of the bridal party

  4. Toast to the Brides parents ( usually a close friend or family member )

  5. Brides father responds

  6. Toast to the Grooms parents ( usually a close friend or family member )

  7. Grooms father responds

  8. Open the floor for any other speakers

  9.  Telegrams

The modern speech list:

  1. Toast to the Bride and Groom, usually the brides father of close friend or family member.                

  2. Groom responds (he must thank the parents and bridesmaids                                                     

  3. Bestman responds on behalf of the bridal party
